The much-anticipated horror-comedy ‘DD Next Level’, starring popular comedian Santhanam, is set to begin streaming on ZEE5 from June 13, 2025. The film, which had a theatrical release earlier in May, now heads to the OTT platform in multiple South Indian languages.
Described as a blend of spooky thrills and comedy, DD Next Level follows the story of a YouTube reviewer who unexpectedly finds himself trapped inside a horror movie. The narrative takes a self-aware, meta turn as he battles both ghosts and clichés in a haunted cruise ship setting.
Directed by S. Prem Anand, the film features an ensemble cast including Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Geethika Tiwary, and Yashika Aannand, alongside Santhanam. Notably, Selvaraghavan appears as a ghostly film director who plays a central role in the eerie plot.
Technically backed by cinematographer Deepak Kumar Padhy, editor Bharath Vikraman, and music composer OfRo, the film aims to offer both laughs and thrills to audiences looking for light-hearted horror entertainment.
DD Next Level will be available to stream on ZEE5 from June 13, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
