After the remarkable success of HanuMan, Teja Sajja is gearing up to take audiences on another exciting journey with his next venture, Mirai. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film is set to be a grand action-adventure experience with a deep mythological undertone.
Originally set for an April 18, 2025 release, the makers have now shifted the release date to August 1, 2025. This strategic move comes to avoid a box office clash with Prabhas’s much-anticipated film The Raja Saab.
To mark Teja Sajja's birthday, the film’s team released an eye-catching poster. It features him in a fierce avatar, wielding a glowing iron rod amidst flying debris, with an ancient temple structure in the background. The imagery hints at the scale of the film, suggesting powerful action sequences and a hero on a sacred mission.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Mirai also stars Ritika Nayak as the female lead, with Manchu Manoj in a villainous role. The film’s score is composed by Gowra Hari, while director Karthik Gattamneni also handles cinematography and screenplay, ensuring a consistent creative vision.
At the heart of Mirai is a warrior’s quest to protect nine ancient scriptures, believed to hold the power to transform humans into divine beings. Set near the border between China and Japan, the film follows the protagonist’s adventurous journey to guard these sacred texts from falling into the wrong hands.
Aiming to reach a wide audience, Mirai will release in eight languages—including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, and even Chinese. It will also be available in both 2D and 3D formats, enhancing the visual experience.
With its blend of mythology, action, and cutting-edge visuals, Mirai is shaping up to be a landmark film in the Indian action-fantasy genre.
