Victory Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ much-awaited Telugu film Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK47 is reportedly set for a release-date change. The film was originally announced to hit theatres worldwide on October 2, 2026, coinciding with the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. However, recent reports suggest that the makers have decided to postpone the release.

According to industry reports, October 9, 2026 is currently being considered as the new release date, while October 16 is also reportedly under consideration.

Aadarsha Kutumbam Release Date Postponed?

Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 was initially locked for an October 2 theatrical release. However, reports indicate that the makers are now looking at a different date.

October 9 is reportedly one of the strongest possibilities, while October 16 could be selected if the team decides to target the Dasara holiday period. Cinema Express reported that the film is unlikely to arrive on October 2 and that the team was considering a postponement, although an official announcement was still awaited.

The change could also help the film navigate the crowded October release calendar and potentially benefit from the Dasara festive season.

Why Is October 9 Being Considered?

A release on October 9 would bring the film closer to the Dasara holiday period while potentially giving it a relatively favourable position at the box office.

The October release calendar is already attracting several major films. Reports have indicated competition from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, while Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabaali has also been associated with the October 16 window.

Venkatesh as Chittibabu

The film features Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role as Chittibabu. The teaser introduced him as a family-oriented and responsible husband, giving audiences a glimpse of the film's humorous and family-centric world.

Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead as Swarna. The cast also includes Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Yuvina Parthavi, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Raghu Babu, Satya, Vennela Kishore and others in important roles.

First Collaboration Between Venkatesh and Trivikram

While Trivikram has previously worked with Venkatesh as a writer, AK47 marks their major collaboration with Trivikram directing Venkatesh. This has generated considerable expectations among Telugu cinema audiences.
